What is TMJ?
TMJ stands for “temporomandibular joint, “which is the delicate joint on either side of your head that connects your jaw to your skull.
Can TMJ go away naturally?
Minor TMJ discomfort will usually go away without treatment. However, anyone with the following TMJ symptoms should consider an evaluation to prevent or avoid future issues. It is not normal to have constant or repeated episodes of pain or tenderness at the TMJ or in and around the ear; or discomfort or pain while chewing.
